NACOG Rebuild Update

Shalom and Blessings

I pray you are as excited as we are as the time for Camp-meeting 2023 quickly approaches. I believe we will experience an anointed encounter with our Lord through worship, the Word, and fellowship. I want to offer a brief update on the rebuilding initiative that is underway on Zion’s Hill:

  • The tabernacle has been furnished with a brand-new air conditioning system, and all the ductwork has been updated.

  • The site for the new dining hall/kitchen has been surveyed and tested for structural stability.

  • The interior architectural concept of the building has been finalized, and the exterior design will be completed in a few days. Once these decisions have been completed, the actual construction documents will be produced, and the building permits and construction trades selection process can take place. In addition to the dining room /kitchen facilities, we are looking at constructing a dedicated space to accommodate our children’s ministry as part of the first phase of the rebuilding initiative. Our goal is to start phase 1 construction in the next 3 months while continuing to raise the funds needed for phase 2 construction of our lodging accommodations. We greatly appreciate and want to thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support during this challenging and exciting season of our history. I hope you will encourage your congregations and friends to take the opportunity to support this initiative that is sure to be a blessing for generations to come. You can anticipate additional pictures and progress updates in the coming months. Looking forward to seeing you on Zion’s Hill Rev. Clifton McDowell Presiding Elder, NACOG
